When we smile, a neurological phenomenon happens where we actually produce chemicals in our bodies that initiate feelings of happiness and contentment. Making it a habit to put a smile on your face as a default posture is not only going to make others around you smile too, but it will keep your internal experience a more joyful one. It might take a bit of practice and thought, like all new habits do, but it will be well worth the effort when you notice that things just begin feeling more harmonious.
When life feels harmonious, we “let ourselves off the hook” so to speak. There exists a comfort within daily life, flow state takes over more and more, and there is less to feel disgruntled about.
We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are.
Sometimes, “faking it ‘till you make it” works out it the end. Smile even when you don’t have a reason. Smile to yourself while you do chores, or listen to comedy when you drive if you need a push.

You exist here, breathing and thinking beacause you are supposed to be. That’s all you need to remember when or if you feel lost or unworthy. The mere fact that you have consciousness and sentience in this moment means you are loved and cherished. The unique frequncy that is you is needed here within this realm of existance, otherwise you would be elsewhere! Sit with this thought, let it take up all the space in your mental landscape.
